It is maybe 1.5 miles to the Patzcuaro-Uruapan libre.
Forget about the 32 topes, more or less, from Eronga to Patzcuaro, there is now a shortcut.
Between San Bartolo and Tocuaro, take the exit to the southwest to Chirahuen/Ajuno. The first town is to Nocutzepo and drive through it, veering left at the Y intersection.
Pass thru Nocutzepo, past the corn fields, and take the new road to the left, before the house at that junction.
This is the start of the new paved road.
